Registrations open for 'Safe at Home, Safe at Work' Conference and Workshop

The Australian Domestic and Family Violence Clearinghouse will run the "Safe at Home, Safe at Work: Conference and Workshop" on Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th December, 2011.  Registrations for this important event are now being accepted.

The event forms part of the work of the Domestic Violence Workplace Rights and Entitlements Project.

The conference event on Monday 5th December will bring together advocates from the fields of domestic violence and workplace relations, employers, unions, academics and policymakers to discus domestic/family violence prevention in the workplace context, through enterprise bargaining and labour law reform.

The workshop event on Tuesday 6th December will feature two sessions, morning and afternoon, and include information on how to understand domestic violence, its impact on the workplace and how to apply domestic violence enterprise agreement clauses safely and effectively. The workshop is open to all conference participants.
