Libby Fordham - Principal
Communicator, Strategist, Creative – Libby opted for a portfolio career at 23 in order to develop a unique set of talents and work to suit her interests. She has consulted both in Australia and internationally in all facets of corporate communications, including strategy, reputation, media, government relations and change management, engaged by government, business, community and the not-for-profit sectors. She is a skilled communicator able to operate at the highest level of business and government as well as with front-line teams.
Libby works with teams to align culture and strategy, assisting people across diverse roles to own their direction, outcomes and participation within the group. She promotes conscious leadership approaches with a focus on overall perspective instead of personal perception, with a balance of individual achievement which contributes to team performance.
Her superpower is her ability to quickly understand complex information and situations to assist leaders and teams to problem solve and simplify engagement and communication to support and create positive change. Libby brings energy and leadership to stakeholder groups to support alignment and productivity helping them to achieve mutual goals and deepen relationships. She is also engaged to facilitate and provide advice regarding governance, due diligence and process to support organisational transparency and reputation.
Libby has worked alongside Prime Ministers, Federal Ministers, famous oracles, community leaders and the people on the street. In 2019 she was Commissioner of the Commercial Passenger Vehicles, Victoria. Libby has lectured and delivered masterclasses in social media and corporate communications for both business and educational institutions, including the University of Melbourne, and run smaller community-based workshops to support small businesses. She has also been an agent, publicist, television panelist, a book reviewer, spokesperson, ghostwriter, speechwriter and columnist over her diverse and successful career.
Alec Law - Associate
Creative Direction, Design Strategy – Alec is a highly accomplished Creative Director and Design Strategist with 30 years of international experience spanning London, Melbourne, and Hong Kong. Through his work Alec has established himself as both a strategic thinker and creative innovator.
His entrepreneurial spirit extends beyond traditional design consultancy—he co-founded Kooks & Co. Wine Company in 2011 and became a Founding Equity Partner and Creative Director of The Inside Network, a financial events and publishing company, demonstrating his ability to build brands and businesses from the ground up.
His project portfolio has seen him lead strategic design across a variety of sectors including major infrastructure projects (Metro Tunnel, Bristol Legible City), government initiatives (WorkSafe Victoria, City of Melbourne), and groundbreaking brand creation (Bingle - Australia's first online insurer). Recognized with D&AD Silver and multiple AGDA awards, Alec serves the design community as a judge, mentor, and member of The International Society of Typographic Designers.
His international experience brings global perspective, combined with his deep understanding of Australian design contexts, positions him uniquely to tackle complex challenges across cultures and markets.
Recognised with D&AD Silver Typography awards and multiple AGDA honors, Alec actively contributes to the design community as a judge, mentor, and council member. His participation in Stanford University's D-School programs and membership in The International Society of Typographic Designers reflects his commitment to design thinking methodologies and typographic excellence.
Known for making complex systems simple and beautiful, Alec applies human-centered design thinking across identity, digital experience, wayfinding, and strategic innovation.
